TOKYO, October 23, 2008 – Police in Japan have arrested a woman who murdered the avatar of her online ex-husband in "Maple Story," a popular interactive game. She reportedly used his login information, which she had obtained while they were "married," to delete his digital persona after he suddenly divorced her. |
